Bill Stapleton

It is with much sadness that I have to advise you that our former President Bill Stapleton passed away this weekend (17/18 July).

Bill had served the SAL and the AFA as well as his own club, Borough Polytechnic - now South Bank Cuaco -  for many years but had been suffering deteriorating health in recent times. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

We been advised that the funeral service will take place at 3.00pm on Friday 30th July at the Beckenham Crematorium, Elmers End Road, Beckenham, Kent BR3 4TD and thereafter at the Bromley Court Hotel, Bromley Hill.

The family have requested no flowers, but donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
