3. We will show the referee the pitch having already checked pitch markings, nets, and removed any dangerous debris.

4. We will show the referee to his changing room, give him a properly inflated match ball and a spare ball at least 15 minutes before kick off, agree when to pay match fee and advise him of the post-match hospitality.

5. We will ensure our players observe basic safety requirements on boots, shin guards and jewellery.

6. The referee may decide to speak to the players from both sides before the game on any relevant points he feels necessary.

7. We shall do our best to ensure that all players, club officials and spectators understand the Spirit of the Game, treat the referee and opponents with respect, and refrain from dissent and use of offensive I insulting I abusive language or gestures.

8. The Manager and Team Captain will accept responsibility for their personal behaviour and lead by example. (Supply team sheets 30 minutes before the game for Senior and Intermediate League games only).

9. We will offer the referee a drink at halftime and, where possible, we shall include the referee in any post-match hospitality.

10. In marking the referee, we will consider the referee's appearance, positioning, movement, overall control and contribution to the game in total.

11. We will endeavour to provide at least one club member a season to take the referee's training course and, hopefully, on passing this course this will encourage that person to take up refereeing in this League.
