AFA Senior Cup wins for SAL sides

All four First Division sides won their quarter-final ties today (6 Feb) in the AFA Senior Cup, setting up an all-SAL semi-final line-up.

Broomfield won the all-SAL tie beating Second Division Norsemen 7-2 at Palmers Green while Old Owens and Nottsborough scored 2-0 away wins against Old Ignatians and Old Minchendenians respectively. In the final tie, Winchmore Hill won 2-1 at home to Honourable Artillery Company

The semi-final line-up sees Old Owens face Winchmore Hill while Broomfield take on Nottsborough, ties to be played 6 March.

SAL Challenge Cups

Two more finalists were decided at the weekend when Nottsborough 3rd overcame Old Esthameians 3rd for the right to face East Barnet Old Grammarians 3rd who won 2-1 away to Old Actonians 3rd.

1. Winchmore Hill 2-1 Honourable Artillery Company

2. Broomfield 7-2 Norsemen

3. Old Minchendenians 0-2 Nottsborough

4. Hale End Athletic 0-2 Old Owens
